• However, applicants enrolling for English for Teens at the Vietnam campus can be younger than 16 years to be eligible for enrolling to this course.
• If the program is funded by the VET Funding Contract and the applicant is below the age of 17 years on the day of commencement of the course, he or she will have to provide correspondence that exempts them from secondary school from:

a. a school principal where the applicant has completed year 10

b. A Department Regional Director where the applicant has not completed year 10

• For international applicants, if the student is aged below 18 years then they will have a welfare arrangement to apply for the student visa which is appropriate for the Department of Home Affairs.

For a Bachelor’s degree, post graduate or associate degree, the student needs to showcase their English Language proficiency by meeting one of the following requirements:

Postgraduate Admission Requirements 

The postgraduate requirements of this university include getting a graduate degree from a recognized university. The student needs to satisfy the minimum age requirement and minimum English proficiency requirement which has already been mentioned in the general admission criteria. • Getting a Bachelor’s degree with qualification at a higher AQF level

RMIT State University Admission Process

There are a few steps that candidates need to follow to get admission to RMIT State University. These include

Step 1:

Checking the requirements for studying abroad, which includes completing at least one full year of studies at a home institution and a minimum GPA of 2.0 or 60% or equivalent. The students should be 18 years or older at the time of application. The student needs to meet RMIT’s English language requirements.

There are other GAP requirements, which include completing a secondary school qualification with a minimum score of 65%. The student will also need to meet  RMIT’s English Proficiency requirements and be at least 18 years of age or older. 

Step 2:

Step 2 includes the process of choosing the courses that the student is willing to study. However, GAP year students are required to select from the recommended courses, which include finance, marketing, IT and Logistics,  accounting, business, economics, Biomedical sciences, urban and social sciences, marketing management, engineering, and others.

Step 3:

The student also needs to provide different documents to the portal when making applications for different courses. The different documents to be submitted include 

• Passports
• Copies of academic transcripts
• English proficiency evidence
• Certified copies of official graduation and other completing certificates  for both original language and English
• Portfolio for any designed based courses (codes of these courses will start from VART, GRAP, and ARCH)
• Computer and IT course forms and others

Step 4:

The student will also need to submit their application form within the deadline. The RMIT State University admission deadline of 15 November for 1st semester and 15 April for 2 Semesters.

Step 5:

The last step will be to wait for the acceptance of the application. The application form will be assessed as per RMIT’s procedures and policies.
